The Impact of Job Loyalty on Healthcare Service Quality: The Mediating Role of Employee Engagement in Aden, Yemen

Healthcare organizations depend on their workforce to maintain consistent service standards. “The attitudes, commitment and behavior of employees are often the defining factors in how patients experience care and how services are delivered.” This study investigates the impact of job loyalty on healthcare service quality in Aden, Yemen, emphasizing the mediating role of employee engagement. A cross-sectional survey was conducted among 300 doctors, nurses, and administrative staff. Data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modelling (PLS-SEM) with SmartPLS. The findings indicate that job loyalty positively influences both employee engagement and service quality. Additionally, job loyalty was found to partially mediate the relationship between employee engagement and healthcare service quality.
