Developing Self-Study Plan Skills for Students of the Faculty of Psychology- Pedagogy, Hanoi Pedagogical University 2

The article investigates the current state of self-study planning skills among 230 students of the Faculty of Psychology-Pedagogy at Hanoi Pedagogical University 2. The results show that although the majority of students are well aware of the necessity of self-study planning, most still have an incomplete understanding, their level of interest varies, and their practical competence generally remains at an average level (Mean = 3.20). Most students encounter difficulties in writing a complete plan. This reality stems from both subjective and objective causes involving both the learners and the institution. Accordingly, the article proposes key pedagogical solutions, such as organizing specialized training workshops, integrating skill training into course instruction, and utilizing academic advisory sessions to enhance students’ self-study quality.
