Demographic Factors in The Prevalence and Management of Domestic Violence

Domestic violence is a universal issue that directly and indirectly hurts people in various cultural contexts. In accordance with the Sustainable Development Goals, prioritization is given to gender equality and empowerment as a potential for peace and stability globally, with each state being obligated to address the issue within its territory. Thus, the objective of this study is to assess the prevalence of domestic violence and its socio-demographic determinants assessment and to study how it can be controlled. Generalizability Domestic violence is a major factor of psychological and psychiatric disorders among women of reproductive age, indicating the need for urgent efforts to integrate evidence-based domestic violence interventions across primary care but also at policy settings.
