PUBLICATION ETHICS

UKR Publisher is committed to maintaining the highest ethical standards in academic publishing. Our publication ethics align with international best practices to ensure transparency, integrity, and quality in scholarly research. Authors, reviewers, and editors are expected to adhere to the following ethical guidelines:

1. Author Responsibilities

  • Originality & Plagiarism: All submitted manuscripts must be original and free from plagiarism. Authors must properly cite and reference all sources. Plagiarism, including self-plagiarism, is strictly prohibited.
  • Authorship & Contributions: Only individuals who have made substantial contributions to the research should be listed as authors. Any changes to authorship must be approved by all co-authors and justified in writing.
  • Data Integrity: Authors must present accurate data and results. Fabrication, falsification, or selective omission of data is unethical and unacceptable.
  • Multiple Submissions & Redundant Publication: Manuscripts should not be submitted to multiple journals simultaneously or republished without proper attribution.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Authors must disclose any financial or personal conflicts of interest that may influence the research.

2. Reviewer Responsibilities

  • Confidentiality: Reviewers must treat submitted manuscripts as confidential and should not use or share unpublished data.
  • Objectivity & Fairness: Reviews should be constructive, impartial, and based on academic merit. Personal criticism is inappropriate.
  • Plagiarism & Ethical Concerns: Reviewers should report any suspected ethical issues, including plagiarism or data manipulation.
  • Timely Response: Reviewers should complete their evaluations within the agreed timeframe or notify the editor if they need an extension.

3. Editor Responsibilities

  • Fair & Unbiased Decisions: Editorial decisions should be based solely on the manuscript’s academic quality and relevance, without discrimination.
  • Confidentiality: Editors must protect the confidentiality of submitted manuscripts and not use unpublished research for personal gain.
  • Handling Ethical Misconduct: If ethical breaches such as plagiarism, falsified data, or authorship disputes arise, editors will investigate and take appropriate action, which may include retraction or correction.
  • Conflicts of Interest: Editors must disclose and avoid handling manuscripts where they have conflicts of interest.

4. Ethical Violations & Corrections

  • If ethical violations are detected before or after publication, UKR Publisher reserves the right to take corrective action, including issuing corrections, retractions, or banning authors from future submissions.
  • Retractions will be issued in cases of serious misconduct, while corrections will be made for honest errors that do not affect the overall validity of the research.

By submitting to UKR Publisher, authors agree to abide by these ethical guidelines. We encourage all stakeholders to uphold integrity in academic publishing to ensure the credibility and advancement of scholarly research.
