Quality of Work life and Performance of Nigerian University Workforce: A Comparative Study of Federal and State Universities

This study was designed to ascertain the quality of worklife and performance of Nigerian University Workforce. Nigerian University worklife includes that of both Federal and State Universities. A further distinction was made between the Academic and non-academic workforce of the Universities. This form the basis of The comparative analysis. The following Universities were used as the case study, University of Port Harcourt (Federal University), Rivers State University of Science And Technology (State University), Federal University of Technology, Owerri (Federal University) and Imo State University (State University).
